Lotte Peters

Lotte Peters is a diplomat in training and policy officer at the Civil Society Division of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.  

After obtaining her Master’s degree in International Crimes, Conflict and Criminology from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, she worked for various civil society organisations in the fields of public international law, transitional justice and girls’ and women’s rights. Before her current position, she completed a Schuman traineeship in human rights at the European Parliament in Brussels. In 2018, Lotte made a documentary about her brother with autism, reflecting a deep personal interest in themes of identity and acceptance and resonating with her professional work in social justice.
