Dr. Daragh Murray is a Reader in International Law and Human Rights at Queen Mary University of London, and a Fellow of the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences. He specializes in human rights law, the law of armed conflict, and the impact of artificial intelligence on identity and democracy.
A UKRI Future Leaders Fellow, he leads a seven-year project examining the intersection of AI and human rights, with a focus on AI in decision-making and surveillance, and the development of human rights due diligence. His work has informed UN standards on protests and policing. He is co-author co-editor of several leading books on human rights and technology.
