for non-CIVICUS and non-ADN members. We warmly invite everyone to take part - even if you're not a CIVICUS or ADN member - you are welcome to register, attend, and contribute. Let’s build the momentum together!

Donation Tickets

we invite everyone to contribute what they can. Your generous donations help support the participation of grassroots organisations and individuals from marginalised communities in the Global South, fostering and promoting a spirit of global solidarity.

Group Tickets

for CIVICUS and ADN members, with prices based on your organisation’s annual income - we operate on a trust-based system.

Student Tickets

students can attend ICSW 2025 for free but must register and provide proof of university enrollment.

Online Participation Tickets

for those joining virtually.

We strongly encourage all participants to review their entry requirements for Thailand as soon as possible and to apply for a tourist visa if needed to ensure smooth entry into the country.

Thailand Digital Arrival Card The Thailand Digital Arrival Card is an arrival card system required for all foreign nationals entering Thailand by land, air, and sea since 1 May 2025.  The arrival card must be submitted 3 days in advance of your  arrival date in Thailand.

  • What is ICSW?
    ICSW 2025 (International Civil Society Week) is a global convening of civil society leaders, activists, and changemakers dedicated to connecting, collaborating, and driving collective civic action. Organised by CIVICUS and its regional partner, Asia Democracy Network (ADN), ICSW 2025 will take place in Bangkok, Thailand, from 1 - 5 November 2025, with the Youth Assembly launching the week on 31 October.
  • Who can attend ICSW 2025?
    ICSW welcomes civil society practitioners, activists, youth leaders, academics, donors, government allies, journalists, and anyone passionate about civic space, human rights, and social justice. Participants from all regions and sectors are encouraged and invited to join.
  • Where will ICSW 2025 take place?
    ICSW 2025 will take place in a hybrid format, with in-person events in Bangkok, Thailand, and select sessions available online. Core sessions will be held at Thammasat University Tha Prachan Campus. The Youth Assembly will be hosted at Mahidol University in Bangkok.
  • What is the theme of ICSW 2025?
    The central theme of ICSW 2025 is "Celebrating Citizen Action: Reimagining Democracy, Rights, and Inclusion for Today’s World." We are currently reviewing the ideas and proposals submitted through the Call for Ideas, and the full programme will be announced soon. Stay tuned for updates highlighting our shared vision for civic power, solidarity, and global justice.

  • When will registration open?
    ICSW 2025 event registration is now open! You can register here. Early registration is encouraged as spaces are limited.
  • Is there a registration fee?

    Yes, ICSW 2025 has a sliding-scale registration fee to ensure accessibility while supporting the event’s costs. More details can be found on the ICSW 2025 registration page.
  • Can I apply for funding to attend?

    Limited funding will be allocated to the selected proposal contributors who submitted their programme ideas through the Call For Ideas (closed now), with priority given to participants from the Global South, marginalised communities, and grassroots organisations. We encourage everyone to actively fundraise to support their participation at ICSW 2025.
  • Will there be online participation options?
    ICSW 2025 is going to be a hybrid event, selected sessions will be livestreamed to ensure broader access. Online participants will also have opportunities to actively engage in discussions and contribute.
